The Leadership Circle is comprised of local leaders and community philanthropists whose gifts of $1,000 or more, invested in United Way of Bucks County, impact the quality of life in our community.
Many leadership donors are also engaged in United Way’s affinity groups, as well as drives, and volunteer projects.

The United Way of Bucks County introduced the Tocqueville Society more than 25 years ago. The Tocqueville Society recognizes local philanthropic leaders who have devoted time, talent, and funds to create long-lasting changes by supporting United Way’s work and advancing the common good.
Membership in the Tocqueville Society is granted to individuals who contribute at least $10,000.00 annually.
This honor is for individuals and couples who have made lifetime contributions to our United Way of more than $20,000. Among our Legacy Donors are six couples and individuals whose lifetime gifts exceed $100,000.
Legacy Donors demonstrate extraordinary leadership and investment in our community. Their generosity provides help, hope, and a better life for many people.
The Legacy Donor distinction is noted on a commemorative plaque, prominently displayed in the United Way offices. Each donors name and generous contribution is noted.
