Parenting in CyberSpace….Is there an app for that?

Attention all Pennsbury Parents: A special eSafety event will take place 4/21, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Pennsbury High School West, Keller Hall. “Parenting in Cyberspace – Is There An App For That?” will feature Brandon Lutz, Technology Applications Specialist for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, who will present communications strategies for keeping children safe, as well as information on iOS restrictions, safety settings, and the ParentKit app for managing screen time.

Additional information will be presented by Kevin Dorsey, Director of Technology for the Pennsbury School District, about the use of technology in our schools, as well as Jill Laurinaitis, chairperson for the PTO committee Pennsbury Parents for eSafety, regarding guidelines for parents to follow district wide.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A with the speakers and additional panelists including Rich Frye, Assistant Principal, Pennsbury High School West; Sherwood Taylor, Director of Administrative Services, Pennsbury School District; Matt Weintraub, Assistant District Attorney, Bucks County, and Mary Worthington, NOVA Bucks.
