Tickets are now available for United Way of Bucks County’s 2nd annual Bet on Success Casino Night fundraiser. All proceeds help low-income families with childcare and Pre-K costs – the single largest expense for many struggling parents.
Thanks to this program, organized by volunteers from United Way of Bucks County’s Emerging Leaders group, at-risk children enter Kindergarten ready to learn – and their parents can get to work, knowing that their kids are in a safe place.
Last year Bet on Success raised $25,000, all of which is helping local children and their families. As a parent from Croydon explains, “I feel that this is the place where my son belongs. He is smart, imaginative, and makes friends easily. With the United Way Pre-K scholarship, we have more financial stability and less stress.”
This year’s event will be on Saturday, March 23rd at the Suez –Water Technologies & Solutions campus in Trevose, Pa. It is expected to attract more that 200 leaders and community “high rollers.” Guests of the event will enjoy food, beer and wine, music, professionally staffed casino tables, raffles, a silent auction, and more.
Bet on Success is presented by Penn Community Bank and organized by the Emerging Leaders Committee of the United Way of Bucks County. Generous sponsors include Suez, Parx Casino, St. Mary Medical Center, Wegmans, Comcast, BB&T, and Giant Food Stores!
