A Day of Caring at Bucks Villa for Publicis Touchpoint Solutions

Fifty eager Publicis Touchpoint Solutions employees arrived by bus to participate in a Day of Caring at Bucks Villa, a home for HIV/AIDS patients in the New Hope area. Our company had volunteered to paint the interior of the Bucks Villa residence. We paraded out of the bus with our paint brushes, rollers, ladders, drop cloths and a boat-load of enthusiasm. We painted the entire house which included 7 bedrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room, and great room.

Working together towards a common goal like this really brought the team together in an amazing way. The camaraderie and collaboration was apparent through the quality of work and effort put forth. Volunteering really fostered a connection amongst our people and it was a wonderful success!

Our President and CEO, Rick Keefer, stated, “The United Way of Bucks County is a tremendous organization dedicated to helping non-profits year-round and it was an honor to work with them. Giving back through employee involvement is part of our culture at Touchpoint and we look for these types of large projects in which many of our employees can participate. We are proud that our efforts made a positive impact and created a better environment for the Bucks Villa residents.”

The day ended with Nathan Townsend—the Resident Manager at Bucks Villa—giving his thanks and sharing his own story of having lived at the Villa and how it changed his life. There wasn’t a dry eye to be found.

We thank the United Way of Bucks County for facilitating this project—a truly beautiful and productive day. We look forward to planning our next charitable venture together!
