Cummins Power Systems Helps Stuff the Bus

Stuff the Bus 2014 is well underway, and we are really excited to help students in need as they go back to school. This year, we have the support of two awesome sponsors, Bank of America and Cummins Power Systems. Their support will allow us to help give students the tools they need to get the education they deserve.

Want to know what inspires Cummins? We were able to catch up with Jennifer Dredge, the inspiration for their involvement, to find out!

“Cummins is a multinational Fortune 500 company that operates and serves customers around the globe,” explained Jenn, a sales rep with the company, “It is our daily mission to make people’s lives better by unleashing the “Power” of Cummins. That simple, yet ambitious, statement serves as the guiding vision for Cummins and its employees.”

“Cummins also recognizes that as a corporate leader, we have a responsibility to help improve the communities where employees work and live. We bring this to life through our actions and the activities of our employees. It is our pleasure to take part in another year of Stuff the Bus with the Bucks County United Way!” she continues.

Last year, Jenn personally set a goal to provide 100 backpacks to the drive. She exceeded her goal, and this year brought that spirit to involve her employer and fellow employees.

“Cummins wants to welcome and encourage you to come together to impact our surrounding communities and drop off school supplies for Stuff the Bus. Together, we can help these young kids by providing the school supplies they need for school.”

Jenn’s motto? “A good life comes when you assume nothing, do more, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot and realize how blessed you are for what you have!” she says.
