For people just getting by, a one-time event – a medical emergency, major car repair, or death in the family – puts them at risk of losing their housing, their utilities, or their job.

The Emergency Needs Fund will help people with one-time, basic unmet needs. It is primarily aimed at working families who don’t have access to other forms of assistance and are unlikely to need help again in the future.
We need to raise $100,000 by the end of 2016 to meet the needs of our community. Thanks to a generous $50,000 gift from Waste Management, your donation to the Emergency Needs Fund will be matched $1 for $1 until the end of the year.
How it works:
- Donate $100 or more to the Emergency Needs Fund by December 31, 2016.
- Your gift will automatically be doubled.
- Local families and seniors get help with one-time, basic unmet needs.
