Need school supplies for back to school season? We can help

Bucks United Way is a charity organization that supports families throughout Bucks County by providing school supplies to those who cannot afford them. We work with volunteers, advocates, and donors with the single mission to help each child learn, achieve their full potential, and live a quality, healthy life. This sets them up for lifelong success in their future jobs and family life.

Our community is the heart of why we do what we do, and it is important to stay connected to our families and stay current about our students’ changing needs this year.

United Way provides school supplies to help students succeed in class or online

Fall 2020 can be the start of your child’s best school year no matter where they learn. In class or online learning will require more school supplies to help kids learn and to encourage them to be proactive with their education. Students who use the internet for part or all their learning will still need to track the new and old lessons, record assignments, or study for tests using typical school tools.

School supplies for each student

School supplies can help students stay on track and keep up with their education. Kids who are visual or kinesthetic learners will benefit from writing things out using pencil and paper or drawing their own charts and graphs. Kids can track progress and develop lifelong organization skills using folders and different notebooks for each subject.

United Way listens to families and teachers

Teachers will also ask for certain school supplies possibly in specific quantities because those supplies are important to student learning retention and health. This Fall 2020, students will need disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, hand soap, tissues, and more. We know you also need these items in addition to typical school supplies. How did we know? We asked you and you told us!

United Way listens to your needs and works hard to provide for them
