So Close To A TKO!

This past Friday, over 500 people took time out of their day to help pack meals or pick produce for local pantries and those in need in Bucks County through Bucks Knocks Out Hunger. Thanks to their time and effort, over 100,000 shelf-stable meals made it into pantries, and the several hundred pounds of produce was picked from Hope of the Harvest Charitable Gardens.

This event is just one day of the year-long project to knock out hunger in Bucks County. Part of BKO Hunger is providing seasonal produce year round to pantries, through Hope of the Harvest and Rolling Harvest Food Rescue. Another element is providing the resources to enable pantries to buy lean produce and dairy products that are not frequently donated.

To make all these things happen, we need to hit our fundraising goal of $63,250. Right now, we’ve raised $59,925. That means we need $3,325 to make sure we can get those in need everything we promised with this campaign. We need YOU to make that happen.

We look forward to your help, and can’t wait to see what a difference we can make in our community.
