There is a gap in Bucks County…

Children who come from low-income families and neighborhoods struggle to keep up with their peers from families who are better off. It starts on day one, when many kids enter school with an empty backpack…or no backpack at all.

In Bucks County, 4 out of every 25 kids are from families that are struggling to make ends meet. When parents struggle to pay rent, keep the electric on, and put food on the table, school supplies other people consider “essential” are simply out of reach. This impacts their self-esteem and their success in school.

Stuff the Bus changes that.

Stuff the Bus is about making sure every child has pencils to do math problems, has pens to write an essay, and has paper to take notes. It’s about giving every child the tools to succeed in school regardless of income.

Your support of Stuff the Bus makes a big difference. It levels the playing field for children in need, by providing them with a brand-new backpack full of the supplies, the tools they need to keep up, and excel, in school.

This year our goal is to help 3,500 children get off to a great start in school. Please consider helping by making a gift to Stuff the Bus. Your support will change the equation for kids in need.

With gratitude,

Danielle Bush
