United Way of Bucks County Celebrates Resiliency

UWBC Annual Report

Community members invited to attend online.

The United Way of Bucks County is shifting its Annual Breakfast & Awards Ceremony online to a Virtual Celebration of Resiliency, presented by Penn Community Bank. This annual celebration is one of UW Bucks’ largest events of the year, bringing together hundreds of donors, advocates, and volunteers to celebrate the work they all do to change lives in the community.

The nonprofit will highlight the key areas in which they bring partners together to make Bucks County a stronger, healthier community. This year, because of the pandemic, UW Bucks will host the celebration live on an online platform on Friday, May 7, 2021, starting at 8:30 am.

“We are so excited to share the incredible things that community support has made possible over the past year,” says Marissa Christie, President and CEO at United Way of Bucks County. “So many people have come together to help those who are struggling. This is our opportunity to thank Bucks County – and show people exactly how their gifts make a difference,” she says.

Registration for United Way of Bucks County’s Celebration of Resiliency is now open at www.uwbucks.org/celebrateresiliency. All are welcome and invited to attend free of charge thanks to sponsors Penn Community Bank and SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions.

Any questions about the event can be directed to Katie Matarazzo at katiem@uwbucks.org.
