Holiday Gift Card Drive
Donate Gift Cards For Teens in Bucks County
Every year, hundreds of older kids and teens in Bucks County are forgotten during the holidays. Toy drives provide the right gifts for kids under 11, but not much for their older siblings.
Help make sure that ALL young people in Bucks County get at least one great, exciting gift this year by donating to our Holiday Gift Card Drive.
Last year, our generous donors supported over 1,600 young people. This year, we expect the need for holiday help to increase significantly. Families in Bucks County are really struggling this year because of the pandemic. Your support will help keep many of them on track without having to worry about how they will make Christmas happen this year.
We will close our wait list to kids in need on December 11th to allow time for our volunteers to shop and sort orders. If you can help, please make your gift as soon as possible so we don’t have to turn families away.

The most effective way to help Gift Card Drive is by making a direct donation. That allows us to purchase gift cards in bulk at a discount. Make a donation now!
Now through December 18, we are asking the public to provide donations to get gift cards - for local teens. Gifts of any amount will help and are deeply appreciated, but we try to make sure that each kid gets about $35 for food and clothing. That means they get to shop for something new or hang out with friends and grab a snack. It's a luxury these kids don’t normally have.

Making the Holidays Special
There are several holiday drives in Bucks County. While they are all wonderful, not all of them include older children. It’s easy to forget that older children want to experience the magic of the holiday season as well. You can ensure that they’re not forgotten. Here’s why you should donate to United Way of Bucks County, so we can get them gift cards this holiday season.
Give to a Great Cause
You likely have several holiday donations in Bucks County that you’ve already submitted. We ask that you make room for one more holiday gift card drive. Our holiday drive in Bucks County donates gift cards to older children and teenagers. We make sure that they’re able to open a present alongside their younger siblings.
A parent can feel terrible by having to leave out their older children because they don’t have enough money to buy them presents. Most people donate presents for younger children. While this is certainly important too, our holiday gift card drive in Bucks County makes sure that older children aren’t left out.
An Extra Need
Holiday drives are more important than ever this year in Bucks County. Families have been hit hard financially. Many might worry they won’t have enough to give their children a special holiday experience. When you donate, we’ll get them gift cards to give them that experience, and make their holiday one to remember.
The pandemic will likely keep families from shopping for presents, too. Our holiday gift card drive enables families to purchase presents safely for their families.
Although the pandemic may make us feel isolated, we can still nurture our community by offering to donate to our holiday gift card drive.
Why Older Children Matter
If you’re wondering why our holiday donations go to older children, then that’s because few holiday drives are geared towards older children and teenagers. Yet they deserve presents like everyone else. When you donate to our drive, a teenager in our community will be able to connect with that sense of magic that they enjoyed when they were younger.
Older children are on the verge of becoming adults. They’re starting to figure themselves out. Our holiday drive aims to give holiday donations that can help them feel good about themselves. Teenagers, in particular, battle with their self-esteem. A donation may seem like a small gesture, but it can mean the world to someone in need.
You can change a child’s life when you choose to donate to our gift card drive. Call us for more information!
