Give to United Way of Bucks County: The best return on your investment!
When you make UW Bucks your partner in giving, you choose the best way to make a difference in Bucks County. Your gift does more than just support people who are in urgent need right now — you also support meaningful, lasting change that impacts the entire community. You are investing in a quality education, a stable income, and good health for the entire community. And you are insuring that important programs across the county continue to do their incredible work.
Many of our donors choose to participate in their company or organization’s United Way Annual Campaign. Often, they make their donations through payroll deduction over the course of each year. Please check with your company to find out about your United Way Campaign. If your business or organization isn’t currently running a United Way campaign – and you have the creativity and passion to be a great Employee Campaign Coordinator – contact Sheri Ratner at 215 949 1660 ext., 114 or firstname.lastname@example.org right away!
The United Way of Bucks County introduced the Tocqueville Society more than 25 years ago. The Tocqueville Society recognizes local philanthropic leaders who have devoted time, talent, and funds to create long-lasting changes by supporting United Way’s work and advancing the common good.
Membership in the Tocqueville Society is granted to individuals who contribute at least $10,000.00 annually.
This special category recognizes some of our most loyal and generous donors for lifetime contributions. While the lifetime contributions of a Legacy Donor must only exceed $20,000, many in this category have lifetime gifts of more than $100,000. Our Legacy Donor category was established in 2012 under the leadership of Board Member Mark Worthington, Chairman of Leadership Giving and Major Gifts. We honor each of Legacy Donor on a large plaque proudly displayed in United Way’s newly renovated Lower Bucks offices and happily invite you to stop by and see it – it really is magnificent!
