Stuff the Bus has always focused on preparing kids to go back to school.
In past years, that meant new backpacks full of school supplies.
Our community pulled together so every child in Bucks County would have pencils and pens, crayons, paper, and other items on their list.
Preparing for school is different this year.
No matter what school looks like this fall, we need to help limit the person-to-person spread of coronavirus. In addition to backpacks and school supplies, Stuff the Bus will provide students with disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, hand soap, and other items to keep kids and schools safe.
We surveyed hundreds of parents struggling to make ends meet. Overwhelmingly, they report that in addition to school supplies, they need help with these things.
Expanding this project beyond school supplies means that the cost of helping each student is higher. We believe that keeping kids, their families, and the staff at their schools safe is worth it. We hope you do, too.
Please help us Stuff the Bus. We need to work together on this. Every gift – no matter the size – benefits kids and keeps our community healthier.
